Asim Khan

Asim joined Oracle Team USA in 2004. His first America’s Cup experience came during the 31st Cup in New Zealand when he was a member of the OneWorld Challenge. With a degree in Computer Science from the University of Auckland, Asim spent most of his time out of sight managing the bespoke software and hardware. Asim’s career highlight was the amazing come from behind victory to claim the 34th America’s Cup with Oracle Team USA. His analysis of the data was an important part of making this victory happen.

Chris Muir

Chris is a Senior Principal Product Manager for Oracle Corporation’s Development Tools in JDeveloper and the Application Development Framework (ADF). Prior to joining Oracle in 2012 Chris was employed as an independent consultant specializing in Oracle development technologies, with focus on JDeveloper, ADF and web services. Chris was also an Oracle ACE Director prior to joining Oracle, was awarded the Oracle ACE Director of the Year award by Oracle Magazine in 2009, is a frequent presenter at user group events, and was the founder of the ADF EMG.

Francisco Munoz Alvarez

Francisco Munoz Alvarez has over two decades of experience in consulting, analysis, support, implementation, and migration of Oracle products. He is also an expert in most phases of a database life cycle, for example, development, stabilization, security, backup and recovery, tuning, installations, and data warehouse (ETL) with excellent implementation and support methodologies.

Daniel Morgan

Dan is an Oracle Ace Director and the Morgan behind Morgan’s Library on the web. Retired now, he was the primary Oracle instructor at the University of Washington for 10 years, is a member of the Board of Directors of the Western Washington Oracle Users Group, and a member of UKOUG, the International Oracle zSeries SIG, the Oracle RAC SIG, BAARF, BAAG, and the former Chair of the Washington Software Alliance’s Database Special Interest Group.

Tim is an Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) DBA/Developer, Oracle ACE Director, and was chosen as Oracle ACE of the Year 2006 by Oracle Magazine Editors Choice Awards. He has been involved in DBA, design, and development work with Oracle databases since 1994.

The New Zealand Oracle Users Group was founded in 1989. This independent group is for all Oracle users and is a forum to share ideas and interests. We are always open to new ideas about how we can improve the NZOUG so please send through your ideas.
Since the merger of Oracle, Peoplesoft and JDE we have joined forces with the NZ Peoplesoft & JDE users to create a large user group to assist all "Oracle" users in New Zealand to maximise their return on the investment they have made in what is now Oracle Technology.
We look forward to working with all Oracle Users in New Zealand to achieve this goal.
